Hello and welcome to Language Arts!! This year we will be covering a wide variety of literature, short stories, plays and poems from all different genres. During this year I will be teaching students proper grammar use, plot, characters, foreshadowing, predicting, vocabulary use, and much much more. Exciting news is that we will be going on three field trips, writing our own short story, and completing a handful of fun and exciting activities during the school year. I hope you are all as excited as I am. I am always available if students or parents have any questions! Feel free to contact me anytime. More information about how to reach me can be found on the "Meet the Teacher" page!!

Speak Your Mind
This week we read the play "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" by Rod Sterling. Rumors and assumptions played a huge role in this play. What are some thoughts you have about rumors and the damage they can inflict on someones' life?
I'll post the answers on the "Class Bulletin Board" page.
